These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of our services, website, online booking system, and social media platforms. By booking an appointment, attending our clinic, or engaging with us online, you agree to these Terms.

1. Services Provided

  • We provide osteopathy and related health services in accordance with professional standards and the Osteopathy Board of Australia.

  • Our practitioners are registered health professionals under the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

2. Appointments and Online Bookings

  • Appointments can be booked online through Cliniko, by phone, or in person.

  • You agree to provide accurate information when booking appointments.

  • Appointment confirmations and reminders will be sent via SMS and/or email.

3. Fees and Payments

  • Consultation fees will be advised at the time of booking or prior to treatment.

  • Payments are due on the day of your appointment unless otherwise agreed.

  • We accept payments via cash, EFTPOS, credit card, and private health insurance claims processed through HICAPS.

  • If claiming via HICAPS, you are responsible for any outstanding balance not covered by your health insurer.

4. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

  • We require at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

  • Late cancellations or missed appointments may incur a cancellation fee, at our discretion.

  • Cancellation fees are not claimable through private health insurance or Medicare.

5. Clinical Records and Privacy

  • Your personal and health information is stored securely in Cliniko, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and our [Privacy Policy].

  • You consent to us collecting and storing your information for the purpose of providing safe and effective healthcare.

6. Health and Safety

  • You are required to provide accurate health history and disclose any medical conditions, injuries, or medications prior to treatment.

  • Osteopathy involves physical contact and manual techniques; results may vary, and no specific outcome is guaranteed.

  • If you experience discomfort during treatment, you must inform your practitioner immediately.

7. Liability

  • To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising from the use of our services, except where caused by negligence.

  • You accept that osteopathic treatment may carry risks and agree to proceed at your own discretion.

  • Nothing in these Terms excludes your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

8. Social Media

  • We maintain social media pages on Instagram and Facebook for general information, education, and communication.

  • Content on our social media is not a substitute for professional medical advice.

  • By engaging with us on social media (e.g., comments, tags, messages), you acknowledge that your interactions may be publicly visible, depending on your account settings.

  • We reserve the right to remove inappropriate, offensive, or promotional content from our pages.
