Hello and welcome! I’m Niraj, a fully qualified and registered osteopath who loves to help people to get back to what they love.
My love for helping people began when I was younger, playing every sport I could. Naturally, with that, comes injuries and when I saw an osteo who helped me feel better, I hung onto that.
I completed a 4.5 year double degree at Victoria University. I graduated in 2021 with a Bachelor of Science (Clinical Sciences) and a Master of Health Science (Osteopathy).
I believe the first step in people’s recovery is them understanding what is going on. Working collaboratively towards a goal is the best way to reach that goal, whether that be reducing your pain, being able to play with your kids or grandkids or returning to sport.
I enjoy using a hands-on approach to treatment and love treating a variety of conditions.
About Me
I am an absolute lover of all sports, from playing cricket, golf, footy, tennis to mixed netball, if there is a ball involved, I’ll be there.
I love travelling, of which, one of my recent highlights was going to Egypt and seeing the Great Pyramids of Giza. We still don’t know how they were built and I find that amazing.
Staying active is a big part of my life but it has come at a cost on numerous occasions. Having gone through my fair share of injuries including sprained backs, necks, torn ACLs and meniscus, broken bones and strained muscles, I feel like it puts me in a great position to relate to what clients come in with.
I find the human body fascinating and love continually learning more. There will always be conditions or presentations that stump us as osteopaths but I promise to always do my best to get to the bottom of it and if that means referring you on to other health professionals that are more qualified, I will.
